In the 14^th century a family called Medici took a lot a power becoming the private bankers of the Pope, they ruled for over 300 years commissioning, for their private collections or for religious purposes, artist like Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci and many more to accomplish statues paintings and palaces. That is why today Florence is consider the "mother of Renaissance".

Day like:

The Tour is 11h usually it starts at 7:30AM . Your driver will meet you in the lobby or where you indicate. The drive to Florence is about 3/h. The driver is allowed to enter the ancient area of the downtown so that you can have an easy access by foot to the main focus areas, the Duomo, the Campanile and Baptistery. From there you can reach the famous Ponte Vecchio (old bridge) passing buy the Palazzo Vecchio (town hall). We will make arrangements for you to visit the David and right after go for a typical local lunch. On the way home a stop to the church of Santa Croce home of the frescos of Giotto and the tombs of some Florence great man like Michelangelo for example.
